I picked this M38 up a couple of years ago and it’s been sitting on jack stands ever since. None of the original electrical still exists as far as generator, regulator, starter and such. It was converted to 12v long before I got it. I’ve had it running on the stands and the engine is smooth and quiet. It has a serial number that begins with RM denoting it is a remanufactured engine.
