This new style fixed RPM steady flow, cruise control meter pump kit will eliminate flame fluctuations, due to varying viscosities of fuel. If you have the old style pressure adjustment for your flame size, your best option is to update to a meter pump. This is a lower RPM, volume-control pump, and does not use a pressure regulator at all.
