DESCRIPTION MADE IN THE USA Buffing tapers have internal threads and are designed to screw onto a shaft. The external taper is threaded so buffs can be screwed onto the taper. Buffs with PIN HOLE CENTERS are the ONLY buffs that will work on buffing tapers because they have hard centers. The hard centers give the threads on the taper something to screw into.
