This is a Valve Lapping Tool used on Model T, A, Flathead Ford Era cars for Hand Lapping Valve seats. It's Manufactured by "Goodell-Pratt" Tool smiths in Greenfield Mass. Tool No. 747 Made of Steel and Brass with a wood handles. It uses a Rack and Pinion actuated with an alternating swivel rotating action.
