You can start your engine on any stand without the use of a bellhousing. Will work with all "6" bolt 289,302,351 V-8"s,250, 240, 300 6 cyl. and some 3.8 V-6 Ford engines. I ship to our 48 states only, This sale is for just the plate the starter is bolted to. One of the uses is to check different valve timing while the engine is on the stand, you can crank the engine over to see the different compression pressures with different + or - cam settings, and building up oil pressure before you install...
