This 6.5L GM diesel fuel pump cable assembly is used to bleed the fuel system of air following repairs and/or maintenance. The 6.5L is sensitive to air in the fuel lines and typically requires two people to bleed the fuel system - one to crank the engine or cycle the key "ON", and another to open/close either of the two bleed valves.
