Battery Life Extender Add to weak or lifeless battery, don't overfill any cells. Wear proper eye protection and clothing before ever working on any battery. Charge battery with covers removed, watch for bubbling in all cells. Cells that don't bubble are dead and need longer charging. I use a 200 Amp Associated boost charger on a 15 minute timer to really de-sulphanate the cells. I repeat this process 5 times with an hour rest between boosts.
