The story begins with a young man who had owned a brand new 1970 Road Runner in his younger days. With time passing and the responsibilities of the real world looming in, he reluctantly had to sell his beloved Plymouth in the early 1980's. As he had always wanted to replace it with another Road Runner, back in 1987 he found and purchased this one from a local family (as it would seem after their young son had made it his personal high school cruiser). He drove the Road Runner in his shop in 1987...
