This 1974 Maico 440 was built in Germany and was considered the premium off-road motorcycle of its day. Purchased new in 1974 by my uncle in Albuquerque, NM, it was only ridden a few times then stored in a climate controlled shop. The little rubber tips stills show on the original tires. Buyer will likely have to replace those before riding but they look new as does the entire machine. Mileage listed is just a guess on the high side since I have no way to tell. I can count on one hand the number...
