Up for sale is actually two 1991 Mercedes SD(L) 350 cars (one a part car). The “good” car is a 350 SDL and it's major problem is a blown head gasket. The other problem is the tranny doesn't want to shift out of first sometimes but there's another good tranny below. I have enjoyed this car as it's a very heavy safe car that actually gets a true 25 mpg on the highway (diesel fuel). I've heard others say they can get 30 mpg out of this model, but I think that's a stretch. We have owned this car...
